Hi, I’m Alex.
— I’m so glad you’re here.
Heartstrings & Hymns was created for moms who want to cultivate a peaceful, faith-filled home through music, worship, and everyday rhythms with Jesus.
This space exists to help you weave faith into the ordinary moments of motherhood — not through pressure or perfection, but through presence.
Music has always been one of the primary ways God has shaped my home. It’s how we reset after hard days, how we begin our mornings, how we calm little hearts, and how we remember what truly matters. I’ve seen firsthand how even small moments of worship can shift the atmosphere of a home — bringing peace where there was chaos and grounding where there was overwhelm.
Why Music + Motherhood?
I believe we were created to be musical beings. From the very beginning of Scripture, worship is woven into the story of God’s people. Our bodies, souls, and spirits respond deeply to music — and our children do too.
Here, you’ll find:
Christian worship music for toddlers and young children
Faith-based motherhood rhythms that feel gentle and sustainable
Practical ideas for inviting worship into everyday routines
Encouragement for moms who want their homes to reflect God’s presence
This isn’t about having it all together.
It’s about choosing Jesus in the middle of real life.
A Gentle Word to Moms
Motherhood doesn’t always look the same for everyone — and that’s okay. Some seasons feel joyful and natural. Others feel heavy, loud, or overwhelming. Wherever you’re standing today, you are welcome here.
My hope is that this space feels like a deep breath — a reminder that faith doesn’t have to be loud or complicated to be powerful. When worship becomes part of daily life, discipleship happens naturally. Peace grows. Hearts soften. And God meets us right where we are.
